Again you can go root, to bark, to leaf. I advise to have 3 sources: root, stem bark, new growth leaf. For people adverse to alcohol extracted herbs, the garrya fresca root and root bark can be used to make herbal 'hot water'-teas. Have all 3 including tinctures on hand.
