Walking along the mountains now Mountains and flowing streams are essential to the ancient mountains. Climb a tree for yourself, claim a rune, and offer a stain to our people. They are priceless treasures of the eternal hills. Mountains and streams are complete in their own right. We must not be afraid to question, as the old woman laughs to herself, "How can I bear children too old to have them, and have them with joy, when my husband is too old?" Streams and mountains open up so many possibilities. For mountains and streams were created long before our people's myth of the blushing red man.
Who can blush? Who can walk with a smile? They are alive in this moment, just as we are. These mountains were perfectly created before the Earth lost its shape. Offering a blot is like bathing in ice-cold water, like climbing a tree and walking among the mountains and streams of living water. Or, like the clouds, we might enjoy walking among the flowing mountains and streams. We know that at four o'clock in the morning, Wotan, hanging from a tree, walked over the sea to reach them. The limits of watery creation are as fluid as our minds. Didn't the children walk on dry land in the middle of the ocean? Didn't they have walls of water on their right and left when they arrived at Turtle Island in Leif Ericson's long boat? The abundant walking mountains have given us a white rune stone, and on the rune stone a new name has been written. The name is the understanding of the rune behind the words. While you are in the region of the mountains and flowing streams, pay attention to the pillars, the stones, and the name he has written for you.
The mountains do not lack the nature bestowed upon them by Wotan, the Father of all, and Freyja, the Mother of all. They exist within themselves and from themselves. We are directly involved in this historic extinction, we are celebrating it, and we are witnessing the demise of our true selves. A key difference between ancient Germanic poetry and modern poetry is the use of alliteration, or rhyme, rather than end rhyme. In alliterative poetry, stress is typically placed on words beginning with the same consonant. This is achieved through the rhythm of the poem. Rhythm measures the number of stressed and unstressed syllables in a line of poetry, as well as their timing and placement. The most basic rhythm in Germanic alliterative poetry is the Old Lore meter. Made famous by Beowulf, it was once the standard rhythm for all alliterative poetry in all Germanic languages. Old Lore meter consists of two half-lines, each connected by alliteration. Each half-line contains at least two stressed syllables and a variable number of unstressed syllables. In both Old Lore meter and other rhythms, the final stressed syllable of the last half-line may not be alliterative. Old Lore meter is one of the easiest ancient rhythms to adapt to modern English (and Old English), and it also produces a very dramatic reading. For example, the opening line of the Anglo-Saxon runic poem "Daeg (Dagaz)," translated into modern English, uses this rhythm. The stressed syllables are in bold, and the alliterative consonants are underlined: "Day is the drighten's herald dear to man."
As noted above, this rhythm is easy to use and allows for a variety of rhythmic stanzas (Ruth P. M. Lyman's translation of Beowulf is an excellent example of a work that strives to adhere as closely as possible to the rhythm of the original text; see "The Library" (KHG)). Other rhythms, such as the Edda lódahátr (ballad rhythm), are more difficult to work with. Lódahátr verse alternates two and a half lines with one line, and each stanza consists of four and a half lines followed by two lines. The rhythm of the half-lines resembles ancient folk poetry, but the entire line has three accents, two of which rhyme. Hávamar is primarily written in lódahátr verse. For example, "We know Odin has sworn an oath. How can his oath be trusted? He has deceived Suttungur and stolen his testimony. Gunnold can only weep alone." Tags. Biopsyche is material because racial factors are biological, physiological, genetic, and scientific.
